Richard Mueller
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Mueller currently has dual positions as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Immuno Research Inc. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Biothera Pharmaceuticals Inc. Previously Mr. Mueller was President of Biothera Holding’s ingredient business (Biothera Health Inc.) where he created a global company with immune health ingredient sales in more than 60 countries. He held numerous other executive management and board positions during his career, including: President, Textron Omniquip Alliance Group (NYSE: TXT); President/CEO, Weslock Inc.; Chairman/CEO, Playcore Inc. (AMEX: PCO); and Managing Director/President, Toro-Wheel Horse (NYSE: TTC). He has also held a number of senior management positions with both Toro and 3M Company earlier in his career. He received a bachelor’s degree from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.

Robert Hill
Former Chairman and CEO
Tunnell Consulting

Mr. Hill is a former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tunnell Consulting, an integrative consulting company focused on life sciences. During his 17 years with Tunnell Consulting, Mr. Hill served the organization as a Principal, Practice Head, COO, CEO, and Chairman of the Board. During his tenure as Chairman, President, and CEO, Tunnell Consulting achieved a 35% compound annual growth rate. As the creator of the firm’s pharmaceutical practice, Mr. Hill subsequently led the company to strategically focus on the life sciences market.

Steven Karel
President and Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Karel has extensive senior management experience in the research, development and commercialization of beta glucan and immunotherapy technologies. From 2003-2015, Mr. Karel was Chief Operating Officer responsible for all research and technology development for Immuno Research Inc. (formerly Biothera Inc.) During this period, the company grew its research staff to over 25 scientists, filed over 20 patents, advanced an immunotherapy drug candidate into clinical trials for oncology which was subsequently licensed to Biothera Pharmaceuticals Inc., and worked on the restructuring of the companies businesses, including the sale of its immune health ingredient business and license of technology to Kerry Foods. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Biothera Pharmaceuticals Inc. In addition to his role as COO, Mr. Karel served as Chief Financial Officer at Immuno Research Inc. from 1998-2004. He has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas and began his career as a CPA with KPMG LLP.


Steve King
Co-founder and Chairman
Landscape Structures Inc.

Mr. King founded Landscape Structures Inc., with his late wife Barbara King, in 1971 and they built the company into one of the leading playground equipment manufacturers in the world. Based in Delano, Minnesota, the company has designed, manufactured, installed and delighted children with more than 80,000 playgrounds worldwide. The employee-owned company has more than 350 employees and a global network of more than 250 sales representatives. Mr. King is a graduate of Iowa State University and a registered Landscape Architect. In 1992, the Kings were named the Midwest Regional Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young, Inc. magazine and the law firm of Gray Plant Mooty. They also were inducted into the National Institute of Entrepreneurs.

Dick Pfister
Former Chief Executive Officer
Midwest Stihl, Inc.

For the past 37 years, Mr. Pfister has been the Chief Executive Officer and majority stock owner of Midwest Stihl, Inc., the largest supplier of hand-held power equipment to the professional and consumer market within its territory, which consisted of Minnesota, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Under his leadership, Midwest Stihl, Inc. has maintained one of the highest market shares in the United States. Mr. Pfister remains active in commercial real estate and commercial leases. He has a strong personal interest in the preservation of forestlands and wildlife for future generations.
